Fall is a glorious time to go boating in California and bases in the North and the South are adding Hunter yachts to their fleet to meet the demand. In the state where boating is a year-around lifestyle, the “boating season” really has no beginning or end. In fact, some of the best boating is in the Fall and Winter.
Up in San Francisco, Base Owner, Lisa Chapin reports that she is in the final stages of commissioning one of the first 2011 Hunter 36’s to reach the West Coast. The new addition to the San Francisco fleet is now berthed at Pier 39; THE place to be in the city. As of this writing, 4 memberships remain and Lisa is offering a special ASA training deal that combines ASA 101 and 103 at a savings of $600 off the regular price! Besides being the most convenient berthing in downtown San Francisco, Pier 39 is a destination unto itself. It features over 30 eateries and more than 60 boutiques and stores for shopping.
Down in Newport Beach at PowerTime Orange County, the base is currently adding a Hunter 45CC, named “Southern Comfort”, to its fleet. Base Owner, Chris Jester, thinks this large yacht will be the perfect addition to his fleet which also has Huner 33, 36 and 38 models already. The 45CC is a luxurious yacht that features a master stateroom with 6’5″ of headroom, a flat screen tv in the salon and all the other accoutrements one would expect in a large luxury cruising yacht. A limited number of memberships are immediately available. You can arrange for a private showing or make plans to see the yacht at the Lido Boat Show in Newport Beach, Sept 23-26. The base will also be showing a new Hunter 38 at the Long Beach Boat Show, Sept 9-12
