The Spring is an exciting time at our boating bases across North America. We’ve all been patient since Halloween time but it’s hard to contain it any longer… It’s almost boating time again! If you’ve caught this fever as well, come on out to a boat show we’ll be at in March and April to learn more about our unique, affordable Membership Sailing Club.
Our program is meant for people who want to sail as much as they can on new cruising yachts for as little money as is possible. Potential Boat Owners have a great incentive to “do the numbers” with us when considering a purchase. Prospective Members need to hear how our flat rate type of membership is the way to go.
So, come on out to the following shows:
March 8 – 10 will see the debut of our new Washington DC base aptly named PowerTime National Harbor. We’ll be exhibiting to inform boaters about our new program in town and signing up members for the Hunter 33 in the fleet there. It’s mainly a power boat show, but that’s ok, because our DC base is offering both power and sail memberships. We are looking for powerboat owners as well as powerboat and catamaran owners who want their boat close to home! Check out their boat show specials and stop by to say hi and learn more at the Dulles Expo Center in Chantilly. New members will receive a free day of training if they enroll at the show and new boat owners will receive $2000 in PowerTime Plus Bucks!
April 11 – 14 is when sailors on the West Coast flock to San Francisco for its’ own version of Strictly Sail. PowerTime San Francisco will be on hand, once again. This year, you can climb aboard the Hunter 39 in the fleet there. If you sign up for a membership during the show you will get 13 months for the price of 12. Your friends will thank you for the ringside seats when the America’s Cup races are held there this Summer!
April 12 – 14 are the dates for the annual Southeast Boat Show in Jacksonville, FL and PowerTime Northeast Florida will be on hand to show you how to live the good life in St Augustine. Take advantage of their show special which offers free ASA 101 and 103 to new members who sign up during the show! It just doesn’t get any better for a new sailor who’s been dreaming of boating this wonderful region.
April 18 – 21 is the 40th Annual In-Water Boat Show at Newport Beach, CA. PowerTime Orange County is hoping to show their brand new Hunter 40 if it arrives in time from the factory! This base has a wonderful variety of boats for Members to choose from and gets accolades from its boat owners and the boating industry all the time for the quality program they run in one of the nicest boating towns you could ask for with Catalina Island on the horizon. If you enroll as a member during the show you will get ASA 101 and 103 for a couple for Free!
April 26 – 28 is when sailors will descend on Annapolis for the Spring Boat Show. This new show began last year as a compliment to the massive show in the Fall and was a huge success. At this show you will be able to meet PowerTime Annapolis as well as PowerTime National Harbor. Climb aboard the new Hunter 45 coming into the Annapolis fleet and if you enroll at the show get half off the joining fee and 10% off lessons. They’ve also have $2000 in PowerTime Plus Bucks to hand out to new boat owners. Both bases are in need of more boats. So, come find out why this is the smartest move you could make when considering ownership.
Break out your comfy boat shoes and come see us this Spring. Unlike most boating and boating clubs, we have very limited membership positions available because we limit how many people share all the time on each boat. Members tell us this facet of our program makes them feel like they own the boat and you can too but you need to act fast to lock in this season of fun now!
