PowerTime San Diego is designed to get people of all skill levels on the water enjoying new powerboats (and sailboats). Even if you’ve never stepped foot on a boat, PowerTime will work for you. Our award winning instructors can take you from greenhorn to skipper in just a few days when you sign up for a PowerTime Membership.
Experienced boaters who have taken classes or chartered boats will see the amazing value PowerTime San Diego brings to the water. For nearly the cost of chartering a boat for a day, members will have access to the boat all month long! Imagine boating up to 7 seven consecutive days for one flat fee!
Our Innovative management program
Thinking of buying but you are just not ready for a variety of reasons? PowerTime San Diego might be able to bridge that gap by placing your boat into the PowerTime ownership program.
Our ownership program reduces overall expenses by at least 50% and is customized to meet your individual goals. If you want to own a new Beneteau and are interested in doing it in a more financially responsible way, PowerTime ownership is for you.
Allow our professional staff to take care of all ownership task like insurance, maintenance, slips, cleaning, etc. while you enjoy using the boat on a regular basis alongside a steady income to offset many of the cost.
Get The Most Time on The Water
At PowerTime San Diego members will enjoy the most time on the water for the least amount of money. It’s simple, choose a fractional membership to a specific boat in our fleet (sail and power) and after professional instruction and orientation aboard your new boat, you’re ready to use our exclusive web based scheduler to start boating. Book a PowerTime up to a year in advance or be spontaneous and book a trip just a few minutes before getting to the boat. No matter when, your boat is ready when you are!

Located in the heart of the San Diego Bay, Harbor Island West Marina is just seconds from the dock to open water. With onsite deli, pool, bathrooms, fuel dock, and pump out station, boaters have everything they need for a great day on the water. Enjoy easy access to the incredible San Diego Bay with bustling Navy activity and an unmatched skyline view, or venture offshore to Mission Bay and beyond. Catalina Island is well within range for most of our fleet and makes a great setting for a long family vacation.
Hands-on Training
All PowerTime San Diego memberships include private hands-on training provided by USCG-Certified Captains. During your courses, you’ll learn safe and proper handling of your boat and the confidence to go with it
