SailTime Door County Expands with PowerTime

SailTime Door County, a premier fractional sailing club, is celebrating its fifth anniversary with an exciting new expansion: the launch of PowerTime Door County powerboat club. Led by dedicated base owners Bill and Suzie Wons, who have built a vibrant sailing community, this new addition will bring the new powerboat club to the region, offering boating enthusiasts a hassle-free way to get on the water.

Like SailTime, PowerTime, here, will offer ownership options and fractional boat club memberships for powerboats. The first addition to their PowerTime powerboat club fleet is the Aquador 300HT, a premium 30-foot power cruiser, which has already generated strong interest from boating enthusiasts. An Aquador 250HT will also join the fleet next month.

“With SailTime, we introduced a new way of sailing to Door County. Now, with PowerTime, we’re expanding that vision to power boating, making it easier for people to explore the Great Lakes without the hassles of boat ownership,” Bill explained.

A Premier Boating Destination

Door County, often called the “Cape Cod of the Midwest,” offers an unparalleled sailing and boating experience. With its scenic bays, historic maritime culture, and vibrant local attractions, it has become a sought-after destination for boaters. The natural protection of Green Bay’s waters makes it an ideal location for both sailboats and powerboats.

Wave Pointe Marina, the current home of SailTime Door County, offers convenient access to open water within minutes, along with top-tier amenities such as a restaurant, hotel, and tiki bar. As PowerTime grows, Bill and Suzie are exploring additional marina options in Sturgeon Bay to better serve power boaters with even more convenient locations.

Looking Ahead

The introduction of PowerTime is just the beginning. The expansion is not just about growing a business but about transforming the way people experience boating this great lakes region. By removing the barriers created by traditional ownership, our proven concept, affordably opens up boating to more and more people than ever before!

“We are the first to bring fractional powerboat ownership to this area. We’re educating the market and offering an exciting, cost-effective way for people to enjoy boating,” said Bill. “I could retire, but I don’t want to! This is my passion, and it’s the perfect fit for me.”
