Sandiego

San Diego, “America’s Finest City” is one of the top-ten best climates according to the Farmers Almanac and is one of the two best summer climates in America as scored by The Weather Channel. Sailing truly is a year round activity – a day in the bay may be 12 miles south to lunch at the South Bay Fish and Grill or The Galley Restaurant. Glorietta Bay (a bay within the bay) provides a great anchorage for an overnight stop, dingy ashore to one of the many establishments on Coronado Island. Want to go further a field? Ensenada, Mexico is 70 miles to the south, an easy weekend or Catalina Island is 70 miles to the north. Mission Bay, Oceanside and Dana Point are all in between and are very welcoming to boaters. A day sail may take you into Mexicanwaters and around the Coronado Islands (Islas Coronado or Islas Coronados) a group of four islands off the northwest coast of the Mexican state of Baja California or north to overnight in Mission Bay.

San Diego’s Big Bay promises entertainment and adventure on Shelter and Harbor Islands, along the Embarcadero, across the Bay to Coronado, and south to the shores of National City, Chula Vista and Imperial Beach. Visit all the attractions and shops, and enjoy the best in San Diego dining, all set against the Bay’s spectacular views. Ian and the crew at San Diego guarantee that when you visit their waters, you’ll be sure to say, “This is a good day.”
