What to Expect at the 2025 Charleston Boat Show

Winter might be the off-season for boating, but that doesn’t mean the excitement has to stop! The 2025 Charleston Boat Show is just around the corner, and it’s the perfect way to get your boating fix and kick off the new season with a splash. From January 24th to 26th at the Charleston Area Convention Center, this annual event is a must-attend for any boating enthusiast, whether you’re in the market for a new boat or simply looking to soak in the atmosphere. Here’s a recap of last year’s show…

What to Expect this Year:

  • Extended Hours: This year’s show offers extended hours, giving you even more time to explore. Friday and Saturday run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, while Sunday is open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

  • Indoor and Outdoor Displays: The convention center will be packed with shiny new boats, but don’t miss the cool stuff happening outdoors! The parking lot will turn into a giant boating wonderland, with lots of big boats like cruisers and center console fishing boats. If you dream of cruising around or offshore fishing, you won’t want to miss the outdoor area!

  • Unbeatable Deals: With a wide range of vendors, the show is the perfect place to snag incredible deals. From discounts and special financing to exciting giveaways, you’re sure to find something that catches your eye. And it’s not just about boats! Marine vendors will be showcasing a variety of water toys, safety equipment, and other boating essentials. You’ll even find golf carts, jewelry, and home goods.

Planning Your Visit:

With three days to choose from, you have plenty of time to plan your visit. Remember to purchase your tickets online in advance for discounted rates.

  • Friday: Head to the show early on Friday for the least crowded experience. You’ll have more time to check out each boat and talk to the sellers without a lot of people around.
  • Saturday: Saturday is a great day for families to come! Be prepared for more people, but there will be plenty of fun for everyone and special activities for kids.
  • Sunday: Sunday will start a bit less crowded, but you might miss out if you wait too long! Some of the best boats might already be sold by Sunday.
